The Confession Room is an outrageously funny original British musical by Dan Looney and Patrick Wilde about a group of people who come together to spill their most embarrassing secrets and stories. These confessions range from a guy who admits to having a 'slightly different' ex-girlfriend, to a girl who is tired of being treated like a 'ditsy blonde'. Adding to the plot a mysterious newcomer and a counsellor who has numerous issues of her own, The Confession Room is full of delight, tragedy and surprises.
In May 2013 SimG Records released The Confession Room - Concept Recording which featured an all-star cast including Anna-Jane Casey, Alex Gaumond, Dean Chisnall and Ross Hunter, an ensemble cast of thirty and a twelve piece orchestra. The song 'Excalibur93' went on to be nominated for the Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Award 2013.
In July 2014, a further all-star cast came together for The Confession Room in Concert at the St. James Theatre in London's West End. The concert immediately sold out and gained critical acclaim. Joining previous concept album actors Matthew Rowland, Stephanie Clift, Devon-Elise Johnson, Joshua Lovell and more included West End stars Jon Robyns, Rebecca Trehearn and Stuart-Matthew Price.
